Orbi VPN android IP issue

Hello guys, I tried to use the Orbi VPN to connect to my home network away from home

I seem to be having issue with the android side of thing and I think it has to do with the IP address and subnet mask.

When I use my regular labtop to connect to the VPN, I was able to do so and I was assigned an IP address of 192.168.1.11 which is typical for my home network.  Aside from a DNS leak issue that I have to manually fix with window.  But everything was fine, I was able to access my internal network, share drive....

However when I use my Android phone Nexus 5x 7.1.2 with the openVPN client, it does connect, however it was assigned an address of 192.168.2.2 which is totally on another subnet.  Why is this happening?  but at the least there is no DNS leak issue on android.
