Alas, this is a community forum and none of have any idea about Netgear's plans or timelines. If a need is urgent and there is a product available that meets it, maybe that's the way to go. Just personally, but I am reluctant to spend a significant amount of money on a product until after it has begun shipping and reviewers and "early adopters" have reported on it.

Some of us wait even longer.
At least six months seems to be a decent shakedown interval.
For the RAX range maybe even longer. A year on and it still has missing features.
Some stuff is shipping even before the technical standards have been agreed.
It isn't called the "bleeding edge" of technology for nothing.
