Orbi Wifi 6 router fails to recognize devices after power outage

This is regarding the RBR-750 wifi 6 Orbi router. It is quite unusual to find a product from Netgear to perform so unreliably. This has happened to  be 4 times as whenever there was an occurence where there was a power fluctuation or outage, even for a few seconds, due to bad weather, the router fails to show wifi signals and doesn't recognize the home network.

 

The app hardly works so I have to everytime connect the router through laptop and reset the router to setup my network. At which point, the router only recognize very few random devices and more than half of the devices can't connect. 

 

The last time this happened, it wouldn't allow many devices to connect even after multiple resets. It took me frustrating 4 hours without being able to resolve the issue. Luckily I had a backup set of google mesh router, which I was able to setup in no time. 

 

Hope someone could help me with this - whether it's some fault with the unit or something else.

    Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX product. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX and know how to work it better than those of us who follow this "general Orbi" forum. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:
