Orbi WiFi System router to base connectivity testing
Other than when you set up your base to the satellite is there any way to test and optimize the Satellite to base connection?

Nothing built-in. The best approach is to download iperf3 and run throughput tests between two wired devices--one wired to the router and the other wired to the satellite. This will directly measure backhaul throughput.
