What is the distance between the router and satellite(s)? 30 feet is recommended in between them to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.

Try enabling Beamforming and MIMO(MIMO may or maynot be needed) and WMM. Under Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

The house is 3,600 SQ ft.
The front yard camera is about 8 feet from satellite. just through the wall.
The back yard camera is about 15 feet from satellite.
Firmware is what came on the device. but purchase is new.
system is set to auto.
only two neighbors but they are not that close.
not sure how to do all those changes, but I dont want a system I have to be a programmer to use. I wanted a TRUE mesh unit that all devices talk to each other and not have to talk directly to base.
