Orbi with Hive Hub for central heating

Hi 

We have an Orbi system using RBR20 as our router, which receives internet from a Virgin Media Hub 3 in bridge mode. We have a Hive Hub plugged into the Orbi (wired connection) for our central heating, which up until the summer seemed to work.

Now the Hive Hub cannot get an internet connection.

According to the Orbi app, the Hive Hub is online on our network and has internet access. It appears in the devices list. But for some reason the Hive Hub is continually searching for a connection, as if it doesn't have internet access, and that is how it appears from Hive's end so there is nothing their customer support can do to help.

Has anyone ever seen this problem?
