Orbi with Nighthawk R7000
Hi, I currently have a Nighthawk R7000 and the wireless is still spotty throughout the house. I'm considering getting an Orbi but I'm not sure if this will replace the existing network or if it's better to replace it.
Also, is there a big difference between the satellites and the wall plug ones?

The wifi is better on the Orbi as it has better range and coverage. You can keep the R7000 router as your main host router and run the ORbi system in AP mode, thus replacing the wireless on the R7000 with something better.
The sateliltes are better than wall plug ins. You have the option of using wired back haul with satellites.

Thanks for the reply. Is there any real advantage of keeping the R7000? I only have 1 PC connected to ethernet.
Only that it's up and running and for ease of set up, would to keep it going if you don't feel like replacing it with the Orib. It can be replaced. Up to you.
