Orbi working as router with ATT fiber but…

I currently have an RBR50 setup as my router behind an ATT BGW320-500 RGW. I’ve setup the RGW in IP passthrough mode and I have no issues accessing the internet. However, the RGW is passing a private ip and not the public ip to the Orbi. I currently have the MAC address set to the one on the label. When I select the MAC address that is in the drop down list of connected devices, which is different than the label by one letter, the Orbi gets the public ip address. But, in that configuration the Orbi loses access to the internet. I feel the setup with the MAC address that passes the public ip is correct but I’m not sure how to get that setup to allow the internet to work. Any thoughts or suggestions that could help me here? The main issue is that I have some forwarded ports that don’t currently work.

Thank you,

That sounds like the RGW is not in passthrough mode. Exactly what IP address is being passed to the Orbi WAN port?
