Is there a way to turn off the 2.4 GHz band or be able to select a channel.   Thank you,

Using the Orbi web interface, it is possible to:

  • Reduce the transmit power of each WiFi band (2.4G and 5G separately)
  • Stop broadcasting the SSID (each band separately)
  • Select the channel (each band separately)

This is on the Advanced Tab->Advanced Setup->Wireless Setup

 

"Turn off completely".  No.

 

One wonders what the desired result is.  Is there some problem this is supposed to solve?
