I want to extend my wifi beyond the range of the current router. If I buy the Orbi can this work with my existing router? Or do I need to buy a new router that is all part of the same kit?
I've tried wifi extenders (powerline adapters) with no success. Also my Sonos system does not like the extenders!

Orbi works as it's own WiFi MESH system. It's wifi can't connect to other WiFi sources. It already has a built in router which can connect to an ISP modem or fiber ONT. Orbi can work in AP Mode and connect up to a main host router as well if you already have router in place that you want to use.
