Sony dm 1000es. I have a apple airport express currently.Sorry that I am just "not getting it." When I Google for this product, it appears to be an OLD "preamp". If this is currently connected to an Apple Airport Express, then it should connect to the Orbi WiFi when configured with the SSID & password.

I am tempted to "smart mouth" and comment that the Orbi's are not "speakers". They cannot be connected to a stereo system.
However, in addition to being "uncool" and rude, that dodges the point. Can you please explain exactly which "traditional stereo system" is involved? Does it expect to connect via ethernet? WiFi? Is the point to use the WiFi network to connect a bunch of speakers around the house to a control unit?
