Why am I not able to connect my Roku system to the orbi network? only connects to my home cable network.

It would help to know the model of Roku and of Orbi.
To help reduce the chance that neighbors would purchase systems with the same default WiFi name, Netgear labels each system at the factory with the name "ORBI" plus a two digit number. The product number is printed on the label on the bottom of the router.
Some users immediately change the WiFi name to something else when they set up the system. (This is not required.) For example, I have used the same WiFi name on every router I have installed since at least 2001.

You should shut down radio on your home cable router. You should also disable the routing features on your home cable router if possble. If not possible then you can change Orbi to work in AP Mode instead.
