Orbilogin doesn't work - certificate?

I get the same error when using the IP address.
Is it correct to assume that other networking activities function as they should? (email, web browsing other sites,etc.)
On Windows, I would open a command window and attempt to ping the router at its IP address ( i.e. in my case ping 192.168.1.1)
Does the Mac have a similar capability?
I can ping the router, no problem.
