orbirb 50 speed is not steady with new spectrum modem

Just upgraded my internet sppeed from 200 to 400. Had to get an new spectrum modem . not my wifi sppeed is jumping around from 20 to 400. can not get it to stay steady. My modem is spectrum E31U2V1. before upgrading speed had not wifi problems.

 

i have the orbi rbr50 with two one rbs40 and one rbs50.firmware version v2.5.o.38

    This is your problem:   v2.5.o.38

     

    How did you get it?

     

    You can try to revert your firmware to an earlier version.  Also that new modem has voice, not clear if they requires special config.

      How do I do that ? Plus the modem before had voice too

        Go to the downloads page and enter your Orbi model.  

  • First try a factory reset. This should help with v38:

    We see no issues after a reset.
