Just received new Modem and Router issued by Spectrum, raising speed from 400 mbps to 500 mbps. Will my existing Orbi RBR40 work with the modem, or will we have to scrap our Netgear plus five satell...

If you have any issues after the switch, you may find it useful to reset the RBR40 and run it through the setup process for the new service.
Or just take it through the Internet setup wizard. That will preserve any other customised settings you made.
You don't want it hanging on to old settings from the slower service.
