password incorrect rbk50

So, Im trying to sign in to the wifi on my Galaxy S8 and cannot get signed in, all of my other devices (firestick, xbox one, various ipads laptops ect) have to put the password in upwards of 10 times before they will connect.  I have had less issues connecting through the guest logon.  I downgraded to 1.12.0.18 as suggested by another forum but sill having the same issue.  I'm running out of time to return this this please help!
