Ping spikes Orbi Satellite RBS50
In my household there are two of these RBS50v2 extenders. When connected via an ethernet cord to one of the boxes, there are no issues. When connected to the other box there are frequent ping spikes....
1) Don't have the RBS20 anymore, owner moved out. From what I have been told:
when both were on, the RBS50 had ping issues and so did the RBS20. The RBS20 was was daisy chained through the RBS50, turning this off fixed the problems for the RBS20 and not the RBS50.
2)RBS are located 5m apart with one story difference
3)Wireless is 2.4gz = auto 5gz = 36
4) Routers and Satellites are all at 2.7.2

Does the RBR alone experience any ping spikes with the RBS online?
I'll move around the satellites to allow for more distance.
v104How can I test just the RBR with both RBS online?
Turn OFF the RBS and wirelessly connect to the RBR and test pings there first.
Then turn on just 1 RBS, wirelessly or wire connect to the RBS and test pings there.
Alright I will. Since there can be long breaks between spikes, I will leave these tests running for a time and scan through results. I will let you know what I find in a day or so.

Wired connection to the RBS50 with both on - ping spikes above 100ms up to 700msTested each for a couple hours. Not a guarantee because like I said, sometimes there are no issues. However, this is consistant with my and other users experience of our RBS50 over the past months.
