Plastic sleeve that comes installed on new Orbi units
About the only thing that plastic sleeve is good for, is so when you pick up the unit, the sleeve slips off and the unit goes crashing to the floor.
Dumber question...
Could that plastic sleeve act as a weather proof enclosure for the outdoor Orbi?

Love the humor. Even though the Product Data Sheet says this:
I would at least put a roof over it.
This sleeve was for the Orbi Outdoor Satellite, isn't it?
The early https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/orbi/RBS50Y.pdf was IP56 (with disputable results however), the later https://www.netgear.com/images/datasheet/orbi/RBS50Yv2.pdf was spec'ed IP66.
