poor backhaul on RBR50 satellite with line of sight
Classic and frustrating situation for over a year. I'm running the 2.5.1.16 firmware on my router and two satellites. One satellite is on 5GHz and is great. It's farther away from the router, literally in another structure. The second satellite is stuck on 2.4GHz and poor even though it's pretty much line of sight and within 30 feet of the router.
I've been scanning existing posts for a while and am hoping there's some new techniques to try that will bring these satellites into alignment.

What happens if you swap the satellites?
30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected. https://kb.netgear.com/000036466/How-far-should-I-place-my-Orbi-satellite-from-my-Orbi-router
Disable Diasy Chain as well.

Thanks for that second link. I turned on / off the recommended switches. The backhaul on the second satellite is reading "Good" now though it's still on 2.4 rather than 5- MstrbigMaster
