Port forwarding not working
Recently got my Orbi and upgraded from a R7000 router where i had a few ports open via port forwarding. i mimicked the same ports on the orbi and saved the settings but using a port checker the ports...
Are you trying to port forwarding to a Windows PC? When you change routers the network may default to private so the Windows firewall will block the incoming port until you make the network public.
- Use http://www.canyouseeme.org/ to see if the port is open in your router (it will say Success if it can reach it)
- If your port is open in your router, now check for anything blocking that port on the PC. Try disabling the Windows firewall temporarily and see if things work.
