Problem of newly added Orbi ethernet backhaul
I am using a RBR50 as my main router connecting to two satellites wirelessly in daisy chain like this:
RBR50 <==> RBS50 <==> RBW30
In order to extend my wifi signal, I bought a new RBS50 and ...

"I also disabled (unchecked) the daisy-chaining checkbox." Try putting a check mark in the check box.
If you updated to recent FW v.210, try enabling Daisy Chain. Some have mentioned that this seems to be working in reverse order, enabling means disabled actually. Advanced Tab/Advanced Settings/Wireless Settings

Summary: I think the router GUI has a bug. It does not correctly reflect wired or wireless backhaul on the connected devices status display.
Details:
I just installed a system with an RBR50 router and two RBS50 satellites. All devices were upgraded to latest firmware. Here's the config for the router:
Hardware Version RBR50
Firmware Version V2.2.1.210
GUI Language Version V1.0.0.339
Operation Mode AP
I also disabled (unchecked) the daisy-chaining checkbox.
I connected them all to ethernet. They are all connected to the same main switch. So my intention was to have them all connected via a wired backhaul. I added each satellite one at a time. I turned on the first satellite, and after multiple re-syncs and reboots, the router status finally showed the backhaul connection as "wired" and "good". When I added the second satellite, no matter what I did, the connection showed up as wireless. However, the satellite's status webpage showed the RF links between the router and satellite in gray, rather than blue or orange. So it seemed that from the satellite's perspective, it thought it was using the wired backhaul. To prove this, I moved the satellite as far away from the router as possible, re-connected the wired backhaul, and verified that the router still said "wireless", and the satellite still showed no RF connection between the router and satellite. Then I disconnected the ethernet cable. The router status almost immeidately went to "poor" and "disconnected". The satellite webpage now showed the two RF links from router to satellite in orange and blue. So clearly, regardless of what the router status was saying, the router and satellite were connected using the ethernet backhaul when that hard-wired backhaul was available. When I plugged the ethernet cable back into the satellite, the router said the connection status returned to "good", and the satellite webpage showed the router-to-satellite RF links in gray (meaning they were inactive).

Thank you for the suggestion. I checked the box, and waited for the router and satellites to reconfigure. The result is the same: On the router attached devices page, one satellite (Orbi Satellite-1) shows as being connected wirelessly, while Orbi Satellite-2 shows wired connection. However the router status on each of the satellites shows the RF links between the router and the satellites as grayed out. I believe this means the satellites think they are connected via the ethernet backhaul. I think the router's attached devices status page shows the incorrect connection type for Orbi Satellite-1.

Try powering OFF The system for 1 minute, both router and satelites. Power ON the router first, then power on the first satellite. Wireless. Then power on the other satellite. Wait a while before checking the routers UI for status. Let the system settle in some.

You know you can use a web browser to look at each satellite individually (instead of through the router at 192.168.1.1)....
That might be useful in verifying firmware and functionality.
I also found that each satellite has a "Debug" mode.... if your satelite is at 192.1681.3 go to http://192.1681.3/debug which may also prove useful as there are some settings there not normally seen.
