Problems switching in mesh
Since a year I have a setup with one router (RBR850) and three satellites (RBS850).
This should be set up as a mesh network, so that my devices automatically switch one from to the other.
The reception is great in the house, every room has full reception. However, the switching between different satellites does not work well at all. Very often after I moved through the house, my iPhone says it's connected to wifi, but shows 5G instead. Then none of my wifi functionality is available, e.g. control Sonos. Could anyone tell me what could be set up wrong?

Netgear has set up a community forum specifically for the Orbi AX products. Most of the people who watch that forum are more likely to have experience with Orbi AX (WiFi6 RBK 3,7,8 and 9 Series) products. Might be more likely to find someone who has a solution if the question is posted there:

Please use this link to the main forum product list to review and choose where to make your posts.

Thank you. I wasn't aware there were multiple forums. I've asked the question there now.

It is normal for a cellular phone to display both the WiFi signal strength symbol and the cellular system signal strength 'bars' at the same time.
There may be a setting on the phone for which data connection to prefer.

It may be worth checking other WiFi functionality to see how many features are affected. For example:
- Can you open the Orbi WiFi router web page (http://orbilogin.net) using a web browser?
- Can you open any other web pages on the local network? (for example, my Epson printer has a web management page which I open using the local IP address (http://192.168.1.4)
- Are there any apps on the phone to do common networking tasks, such as
Ping local devices?
Scan the local network to find devices? (Fing is a popular app for that)
