What Firmware version is currently loaded?

 

Have you powered OFF the modem and RBR for 1 minute then back on? 

Is Armor or Circle enabled on the RBR?

Orbi firmware = V2.5.1.8

yes have rebooted several times, no effect

yes on armor, not really sure how/why when I reset the system back up it was turned on, not sure how to turn it off.

Not sure what circle is.

    I would factory reset the RBR and walk thru the setup wizard. After you complete the setup wizard you'll be presented with a Armor enable window. I would not enable Armor here. See if this helps get the PS connected better.

        No, it can only reboot the RBR. Either reset using a PC and web page and use the ERASE feature on the RBRs web page or press the reset button for 15 seconds then release.
