Question on RBR50 WiFi
I just hooked my RBR53 system up with the 2 Satellites. Is there a reason why the 2.4 is stronger the the 5g? It is on all my devices. I would have thought the 5 would be higher, Thanks for your rep...

Problem solved!. When I had my old routher 2.4 and 5g both came up as networks. Now with Netgear only 1 name comes up and it routes the device to the stronger connection. I did not know this. Must have been hooked up to an old 5g that wasn't working well this morning.. Thanks for all the help, Jerry

5G WiFi signals attenuate more with distance than 2.4G and do not penetrate materials as well as 2.4G. The maximum WiFi power level is set by each country. In the US, it appears that both 2.4G and 5G WiFi have a maximum power level of 1 watt.
