Question regarding use of RBK50 mesh system to handle 2 different incoming internet lines

Using an RBK50 mesh system to get coverage throughout home and it works great.  Only get 6-7mbs of DSL service (rural area).  Looking to add an additional line of service ( another 6-7mbs) and wonde...

Orbi routers connect to only one modem, so no, this will not work.

 

There are two solutions that have been mentioned in previous posts:

  1. If you have decent mobile coverage, switch to an LTE modem for internet.
    A number of posts have described using LTE modems where there is no broadband service.
  2. Front the Orbi with a router which does support multiple internet connections and put the Orbi into Access Point (AP) mode.
