Hello
I have a network with an Orbi50 kit. The router is configured in AP, wired to the Freebox. The satellite is also wired to the Freebox. I have an equipment with a wifi card that only support 2.4G. It disconnects regularly and when it seeks to reconnect tries on 5G without success. It is therefore necessary to disable the 5G each time to allow the equipment to be reconnected and then reactivated, which is not viable (several times a day).
I'm looking to test a solution by putting different SSDIs on 2.4G and 5G. For this, I managed in Telnet to place an order config set wla_ssid "NEW NAME OF MY RESEAU 5GHZ"
I do this manipulation on the 2 Orbi equipments to no longer have my original SSID in 5G. Problem: When the satellite is restarted, the 5G automatically returns to the original SSID. Does anyone have any idea what caused this problem and how to solve it? Thank you for your help.- FURRYe38May 21, 2020Guru - Experienced User

If this wifi adapter card only supports 2.4Ghz, then it will never see or attempt to connect to any 5Ghz wifi sources.
What is the mfr and model# of this wifi adapter card?
