Range of Orbi
I live in Montana where Internet access can be quite challenging. The only option I currently have is a DSL line that provides me with a whopping 3.5mbps (please don't laugh). I have a DSL modem/router (about 8 years old) that was provided by the local phone company. Over the years I have added additional WiFi routers to get useable signals to various parts of the cabin (the cabin has about 5,000 sq ft of useable floor space). The additional routers are connected to the base router via ethernet. I have also recently added a wireless router that acts as a 'relay' to get a signal into my workshop which is approximately 100ft from the cabin. My question is, "Would it be useful and benificial to trash all the existing routers, connect to the DSL input with a dedicated DSL modem, and feed the output from the modem into an Orbi mesh? Will Orbi send a signal all the way to the shop (100ft)?"

8 years old is really old (even for Montana) -- so my first try would be to ask your ISP if they have some upgrades available that would help your performance.
I don't think Orbi will do 100ft. Common wisdom is 50-75ft -- but you have open air -- so maybe but probably not is my guess.
But something like this looks awesome for your application
