Rb40 drops connectivity

My Orbi rb40 mesh system keeps dropping from the WiFi system and does not reconnect. This is simply and completely frustrating. I have tried all the potential fixes in forums. The individual satellite systems sit not more than 20 ft from each other.  Any thoughts?  I am steering all who ask away from this less than satisfactory system. Worse purchase  ever and for the astronomical price, I expect it to work. I fully wish I had purchased other systems that were recommended from friends but thought Netgear to be better than this. I am seriously thinking of throwing away these dead weights (and the $700 I have into the system) and starting over with a different name brand. Appreciate any final thoughts before I back yard bury these.
