RBK22 - Internet not connected

I tried to setup my new Orbi RBK22-100NAS. I followed all of the steps using the Orbi App from Netgear.

The Orbi Router connects to its satellite and shows its connected but it does not connect to the internet.

I have the following

Orbi RBK22-NAS Router and Satellite

Xfinity 125 mB internet

SB6121 Surfboard Cable modem

I tried connecting using the Netgear orbi app on myIphone 8

When i connect the modem to my old router or laptop it works fine. When i try to connect using the Orbi router, there is no internet connection. I've tried unplugging and restarting the modem and restting the orbi multiple times.

Please help.

Yes, as the instructions say, when you get to that step, connect an ethernet cord from the laptop to one of the Orbi LAN ports.

I am more confident with the Orbi web interface than the "app".

  I will try the web interface. Do i just connect the orbi ethernet to my laptop to do this?
