Not a lot of help. CM probably means cable modem. But Google shows a whole raft of CM model numbers.
The full details could be important. Especially of your "CM" is also a router.

CMs are only modems only. No built in router. C series modems are the modems with built in routers.
Thought it would be nice to know the CM#### model # here.
HE should be good a far as NAT and connection with the RBR and CM modem if there isn't anything else in between them.

That's Netgear. Google is less than clear on other brands.
Then there are variants with limited routering. Think DM200.
So I don't make assumptions.

I always presume that NG information is most accurate.
DMs are always DSL Modems. Modems only. D series is modem/router units.
