RBK23 stops working randomly during the day
Hi everyone,
in 2020 i bought this Orbi Mesh System, and it worked perfectly fine until some months ago. After a thunderstorm event, the system stops working (apparently) at random during the day. Thunderstorm burned some ethernet hubs, but router seemed ok at very first. After some weeks started going crazy. Both WiFi and Ethernet connections are affected by this problem. What it's strange is that, after a variable period of time, it starts working again. An it goes on like this. Computers detect the WiFi network but when I try to connect, connection fails. Any ideas? I tried everything. I tried to connect router and satellite both with wired and wireless backhaul. I tried to reset router and each satellite multiple times. I excluded hubs, some devices. Nothing worked. They lasted only 3 years, i refuse to belive it. Probably they have been damaged by the thunderstorm... but shouldn't they be malfunctioning all of the times and not every once in a while?

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
How many RBS are deployed?
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?What is the distance between the router and 📡 satellite(s)? 30 feet or more is recommended in between RBR📡 and RBS🛰️ to begin with depending upon building materials when wired or wirelessly connected.

Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.
