I faced similar problem before. I downgrade the firmware back to V2.1.4.10. Disable Daisy-Chain Topology , MU-MIMO and Fast Roaming at Advanced Wireless Settings. Then set a separate SSID for the 5 GHz network on your Orbi https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/How-to-set-a-separate-SSID-for-the-5-GHz-network-on-your-Orbi/td-p/1396594
No more dropping afterward.
