RBK50 Router appears bricked, cannot reset router to manually install latest firmware

Thanks for the response. I am follwoing these directions but I cannot get the amber light to appear. It just stays a solid green:

  1. Watch the Power LED. It starts with an orange color, and then start flashing.

So I cannot get to the point to be able to use tftp.

 

I am using Windows 10.

I've done it with the light green. 

I've also used nmrpflash when tftp wouldn't work.

    Ok, thanks. So you're saying to ignore the fact that I cannot get an amber light or into the factory reset mode? Just confirming. I don't have a lot of experience with routers and networking so I have been following the directions word for word. Again, thanks.
