It seems impossible to get it to connect with 5GHz, even if I move it closer.
Just as an experiment, what happens if that 3rd satellite is moved (literally) 1 meter away from the router? Does that get it to connect at 5G?
While it is really close, what happens if it is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable?

Placing it close makes no difference.
If using an ethernet cable connection, what would it tell me if it works as expected, or vice versa?

If this satellite never connects with 5G WiFi even when very close, then something is wrong with it.
Satellites are also supposed to detect a 'wired' connection and automatically switch to it. If the camera actually does this, then that would be an option to get a better backhaul connection.
The post did not comment on whether a Factory Reset of the satellite has been done. This is sort of the last resort for Orbi systems.
