RBK50V - Tether satellite to router?

Hi

I have the Orbi RBK50V system(router + satellite) but the WiFi signal strength from the satellite is rather poor and I suspect this has to do with our concrete walls in our 3-room apartment.

So my question is, is it possible to connect the satellite directly to the router using a network cable to improve WiFi performance from the satellite?

If so how do I do this?

Yes, Orbi router and satellite can be connected with an ethernet cable:

This will improve the connection between the router and the satellite.  If the concrete wall is severely reducing that connection, then the satellite will not provide much throughput.  Note that this has nothing to do with the satellite WiFi "signal".  That will not change.

So all I need to do it to connect a network cable between the router and satellite, no changes in the app or anything?

Because I tried this before and got some really weird results in the app when checking what devices were connected to what unit.
