RBK50v2 - Firmware 2.5.1.32

I'm a bit confused.   I upgraded to firmware version 2.5.1.32.  I haven't had any issues.  It's been about a week or two.  My RBR50 and RBS50 are both on 2.5.1.32.   I downloaded this from Netgear's ...

Should that be rolled back?  What's going on here?

Welcome to the, "What the Heck?" club.  The way Netgear releases firmware updates for the Orbi platform is confusing.  They often post new firmware to the support web site where "early adopters" can download and manually install it.  At some point, they set a switch "somewhere" that the Orbi Firmware Update process will detect.  At some other point, they set some other switch to make the Orbi "app" and the Orbi web interface display a notice, "New Firmware Available."  At some other point, the Orbi may automatically update firmware without asking.

Sometimes these steps are "out of sync".  The app, especially, seems to announce new firmware early.

So, yes.  2.5.1.32 is the latest firmware.  If it "works for you", keep using it.  If, "oops, something's broken now", then it's time to manually return to an earlier version.  There are some Orbi users who remain on 2.3.5.30 (from June, 2019) and have no intention of updating their firmware.

Thank you for being a "brave pioneer".  Many of us have been stung by Orbi firmware updates and now wait several weeks after a new release to see what experiences early adopters post.
