The router is setup in AP mode - but that probably doesn't matter for my question. I have a 3800 sq ft home over two floors. I have the RBR on one floor and the RBS on the other floor. I am getting good coverage over the entire house with just the RBR and one RBS. The second RBS is still in the box.
Are there any downsides to not setting up the second RBS? If I do set it up, will it just add to signal congestion in the house?
with the router on the first floor and then possibly add the 2nd sat on the upper most floor is not recommended. will it work? perhaps but others have reported signal strain.
your best bet if you want to run the 2nd sat is put the router on the 2nd floor (if possible) and the 2 sats , one up and one down
