RBK53 SSID Names

Question

Hi,First post and relative novice, so go easy on me!!I’ve recently installed the system, and so far it’s great, however I’m having a few issues with my Yamaha MusicCast system, loosing components.A bit of research suggests this could be the kit getting concusses with the 2.4 and 5 GHz channels broadcasting the same SSID name.I’ve had a look through the admin pages, but can’t find an option to rename them, just stop broadcasting on channels.Any hints appreciated.

The orbi system isn't designed to seperate out the names. There's been posts on here about people successfully doing so but it usually has to be redone anytime you update firmware. Plus you need to telnet to do it. If you're not that familar with routers, I'd avoid it.&nbsp;A couple things you can try?1. Change wireless channels. maybe the channel the yamaha is on has congestion. Try changing the 2.4ghz and 5ghz channel.2. Are the satellites at least 30 ft from the router and each other? That's the minimum distance.&nbsp;3. you can try enabling/disabling: beamforming, mu-mimo&nbsp;What firmware is your router and satellites on?What modem is it connected to?&nbsp;

Thanks for the detailed reply. I’ll take a look at channels. I think one is set to auto and the other is on a preset.Didn’t realise that there was a 30ft minimum. TBH the one that is less is connected via Ethernet. Not sure if that makes a difference?The base station is connected to a Vodafone WiFi hub.Firmware is on the latest version - v2.5.1.8
