RBK53s No Satellites

Hello, Bought an RBK53S (no satellites) and intend to use it as my router/WiFi but no satellites.  I presume I can do that right?  I know satellites will expand coverage, but I don't think I will meet that expansion and just need a gigabit router with WiFi, which I was told the RBK53S (alone) will fit the bill. Is that correct?   LOOKING FOR CONFIRMATION I CAN DO THIS WITH THIS ROUTER ONLY! Thanks

Yes, an Orbi router works fine without any satellites.  This is just a (very) tiny point, but RBK53S actually refers to a package which includes one RBR50 router, two RBS50 satellites, and includes a one year subscription to Bitdefender Armor.

If you look at the product label on the bottom, I believe it will say "RBR50".

Thank you for that information, I didn't know that, but the seller did say he kept the satellites (to expand his network) and sold the Router (only) as new!  One more question if you don't mind, I bought this to use on a gigabit network and from my reading (novice) it will work with that as well.  many thanks for all the replies!!!!!!! This forum is great!!! (for a newbie like me)

I've had mine running on gigabit speeds without issues.
