RBK852 - Does a fresh install via iOS app automatically setup QOS?
Hello
I'm trying to track down problems since setting up the RBK852 Orbi. These problems just started w/ the Orbi:
* HBO Now will no longer stream to my Apple TV - if a show starts to play at all, it buffers after 5 seconds and stalls out
* Tidal will no longer stream to Roon - if a track starts to play, it times out after a few seconds.
Both problems point to some sort of QoS filter gone awry, because I have plenty of bandwitdh (1 gig) and the above streams worked fine on my previous router. Netflix and other streaming services also work fine.
I have done a full reset from the iOS app to try to rule out any settings or QoS that may have auto applied, as I ran the speed test the first I setup. My main question is if the mobile app does some sort auto-speed test and setups QoS behind the scenes? I know there are many posts asking about QoS on the Orbi and how to disable, or even how to tell if it is enabled at all.
Does anyone know how to reset this router in such a way that QoS is _not_ setup? I don't want to return this system, as it performs well w/ great range, but if I can't turn off the magical QoS its a deal-breaker.
You are much more likely to get an informed response by post in the forum for the AX products:

Those of us who participate in this forum have the older, WiFi5 Orbi products.
Our products seem to have a "Dynamic QoS" buried internally and there is NO METHOD for the user to influence it.
The AX product? No idea.
