Can anybody advise me how far the Orbi wall mounting bracket RBKWM10000S protrudes from the wall? Thanks.

s probably the thickness of the plastic. It's a shame it protrudes by so much when 3 inches would have been sufficient even if adding clearance for the wiring.
My impression was that the Amazon comment measured the farthest the Orbi device is from the wall. The base of the Orbi is smaller than the 'bulge'. And, they needed space behind for ethernet cables to bend downwards. There are other Orbi wall mounts on Amazon that might be closer to the wall.
