The 2nd satellite will work "as a satellite" when connected over an ethernet link (or wireless equivalent). There will be one Orbi mesh network.
Another Orbi router can be installed (instead of the satellite, either in router or AP mode), but it will NOT become part of the original Orbi "mesh". It will be a separate WiFi network, just as any other WiFi access point would be (from any brand). That is, devices will not automatically "roam" between the main Orbi and the shop WiFi.
Since the 2nd satellite is already in place, purchasing another WiFi access point does not seem to be necessary (or desirable).
