RBR 50 login fails - KB article answers do not work

Did you have the RBS in same room as the RBR when you did the FR and setup from scratch and added the RBS?
Did you press the RBS sync button then use the RBRs web page to add the satellite, one at a time?
Need to know what FW version is on the RBR and RBS.
Try ethernet connecting one of the RBS to the back of the RBR to see if it syncs and if you can gain access to it's web page.
So 192.168.1.1 in a web browser is not working?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update? Recommend setting the default DHCP IP address pool range to the following after applying and a factory reset: 192.168.#.100 to 192.168.#.200.

I would power OFF the ISP modem for 1 minute. Factory reset the Orbi router and power it off. Power ON the ISP modem and let it sync. Then power ON the Orbi router and walk thru the setup wizard again using a wired PC and a web browser.
Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release.

Thank you everyone for your responses. They all point to the need for a Factory Reset. I did that this morning and, best intentions of all involved, it has been a bomb. Perhaps it’s me, perhaps it’s something else. Some details:
Initially all went well. The Orbi set up wizard completed successfully and it was time to connect the satellites The satellite was unable to find a connection and the router started going offline, reconnecting, and going offline again. I powered the base down and back up and now the Orbi app is telling me that it is unable to connect to the router. I’ve tried reconnecting several times with no luck.
Some other details from Furry’s post:
The ISP is FiOS, I do not know the mfr and model number of the ONT. The Orbi is connected directly to the ONT, no FiOS router involved. Perhaps that is a problem?
There is no modem involved so I ignored any mention of a modem in the reset process from his post.
I have loved my Orbi in the past but I’m on the verge of replacing it this afternoon after hours of effort between yesterday and today with no success.
If anyone sees something I have done wrong or should do differently or should try, please let me know.

No, the satellite is upstairs, the base station is in the basement. Should they be in the same room?
I did not use the app to set up the satellite. If I can get the base station to hold a stable connection (it’s still connecting and then going offline) I will do that.
