RBR20 compatible with RBS50-100NAS?
I have 1 RBR20 router with 1 RBS20 satelite. I want to add 1-2 more satelites / extenders to cover my back rooms. Best Buy has RBS50-100NAS (AC300 Tri-band) on sale for $99. Will these work? Are there better options? Thanks for your help!
Placement is key first off. 30 feet is recommended in between RBR and RBS to begin with depending upon building materials when wirelessly connected.
You'll not see a difference since your wireless backhaul, the 3rd radio that issues for traffic from the RBS to RBR max rating is at 866Mbps. The RBS50 supports 1733Mbps which if connected to your RBR 20 will drop to 866Mbps for its wireless back haul. You'll be fine.

Yes, though the wireless backhaul of the RBS50 will reduce to 866 instead of 1733Mbps. It will work.
What is the size of your home? Sq Ft?

Thanks for the quick reply. House is ~3K ft. Not sure what wirelss back haukl is - will we notice the difference between 866 and 1733Mbbs? If so, suggestions for another satelite or extender? Thanks again,
