If found the solution.
By changing the IP configuration to DHCP, the magenta ring disappeared. While scanning the network, I cannot determine a double IP.
For DNS, the DHCP server of router issued a different prim. DNS and sec. DNS IP that I have added manually. I just used the IP of the router.
THe effect could be verified: Changing to manual IP again showed the magenta rin, changing to DHCP again solved the issue.

Yes, the main router is managing DHCP and is connected to the WAN port of the Orbi. Does it make a difference when the ORBI is in AP mode?

Yes, the WAN port is needed for router or AP mode connections for the RBR.

Is it just the router with the magenta ring, router and satellites, or just the satellites?
Are the satellites connected with a wired or wireless backhaul?

It is only the RBR20 Router with the magenta ring. The Satelites are not indicating any issue.
The Satelites are connected with the wireless backhaul.
Setup looks like this:
[Router of Provider]-------[NetGear Switch]-----[RBR20]
RBR20 is in AP mode. WAN or LAN port don't show a difference.
Port on PoE Swtich changed but no difference.
The NetGear switch is providing PoE to the RBR20 in connection with a PoE Splitter.
