RBR20
I use a RBR20 router in a mesh system with two satellite units. The firmware version is V2.7.4.24. Our service is cellular internet. I am in the process of adding four security cameras, 3 ADC-v724x a...

The ADC-v724 appears to be a typical 1080p security camera, supporting both 2.4G and 5G WiFi.
My (personal) practice when connecting Internet of Things (IoT) devices, including cameras, is to have them join the network while sitting comfortably in a chair next to the Orbi router. After finishing the entire setup process (including any firmware updates), I then relocate the device to the desired location (which may involve climbing a ladder!)
Is the third camera being set up this way?
The Skybell doorbell appears to be powered by the doorbell wiring, so it is probably being set up while "mounted"?

The attempt to setup the third camera was not close to the router. However, the first two were not close to the router either. The doorbell camera was mounted when attempting to install. I like your practice of configuring the camera next to the router. I plan to try this. Thanks for your questions and guidance.

I can understand the frustration when two cameras connect correctly and the third identical model fails.
It might be worth resetting the camera and starting over.
Any idea what part of the setup process is hanging up at 81%? (updating firmware? connecting to WiFi?)

We must have completed a factory reset on the camera 25 times and we still landed at 82%. As the installation process progressed, the function that was being performed and the percent complete was displayed. During the 70% and 82% activity, it displayed that the recording function was being configured.
Now, to add to the confusion of this problem, the dealer installed the third camera at a different location and the install worked. This led us to focus on the ORBI and to this discussion. I may be wrong here, but since two cameras were installed successfully and the third continues to fail during the install with Alarm.com, I do not see the logic that the ORBI system is causing the problem. Thanks for the discussion. It is helping to rule out possible reasons why this is happening. I am hoping the discussion will trigger an experience someone in the community had that is similar to mine.
