You might try Safari or Opera browser to see if the newer FW can br applied. Is there a Windows PC around? If so, Try this.

Need to press the reset button for 30 seconds then release, then it send to PUT the command and upload the FW. You could apply either a newer or older FWversion. If not, I would contact NG support to see if they can help you out more.

- RpenhaleFeb 04, 2021AspirantSame issue here, no means of upgrading beyond 2.5.1.22, tell me 2.6.2.104 is available but using app, Rui, manual update via Rui or TFTP don't work, router goes offline for about 30 mins every time with pulsing white lights and eventually back to 2.5.1.22, I even paid £54.99 for support but this was only when it looked like the router was bricked so have asked for a refund. Router still under hardware warranty so not sure how to proceed as not currently fit for purpose if it can't be updated.

Looks like the engineers did something. I was able to sucessfully upgrade to 2.6.2.104 today.- RpenhaleFeb 06, 2021AspirantNo luck here, not showing on the app, tried the web interface and seems to have bricked it. Trying to use TFTP now. Not my first time with Netgear kit bricking with flaky firmware upgrades.
