RBR40 is disconnected and won’t reconnect

Hi. Our ORBI was working this morning but after a brief outage it is showing as “disconnected” and won’t disconnected. ISP is working just fine. Looks like we are connected without internet connection...

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?

 

Has a power off for 1 minute of the ISP modem and RBR, then back on been performed?

After much trouble shooting, we determined the issue was our new "Smart" thermostat. Once we disconnected that, the router began to work perfectly.

    A device shouldn't be able to do that.  I wonder whats going on with it.

      It needed to connect only with 2.47 connection, not 5. Apparently it’s a common issue that is sometimes resolved by disabling the 5 during set up process but may or may not continue after set up. Basically, smart devices aren’t always smart.
