RBR40 the internet port not working

Hi my router was working great no problems , later in the day it said no internet connection , i called my ISP they said everything was okay on there end . so the problem is with the router it want recognizes the internet port . i tried to connecting through the Ethernet port with static ip it does not work any body has any idea what to do . i tried to put a new software through my windows computer through the command port that does not work because i don't get  the orange light or any flashing light . the power light stays green after reboot or reset
