What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Do you have Armor, Access Control, Circle or Traffic Meter enabled on the RBR?

Press the back reset button for 15 seconds then release. Set up from scratch. Power off the modem for 30 seconds then back ON. Be sure to not enable Armor, Circle, Traffic Meter or Access controls. Soon after the RBR is set up, run a quick speed test with Ooklas installable speed test app on a ethernet connected PC.

While I appreciate the reply first I'm trying to determine if the RBR40 supports gigabit speeds. According to tech support for Netgear it does not. However, they have been wrong before . Before I started trying to reconfigure my network can you point to some Netgear documentation that my router supports gigabit speeds. I have been unable to find this, this is the only information I've been able to find

And I don't see anywhere on that sheet that it says it supports gigabit speed.
